How To Play A DVD
It is fairly easy to learn how to play a DVD.
Remember the old Discman? Push the disc in and push play?
Well the same thing works for the DVD.
The basis is to push it in and play.
However, that is not all there is to it!
You can do a lot of other things with a DVD player that you couldn't do with the good old discman!
For example, very obvious, you can watch a movie with a DVD player. Try that with a discman!
On a more serious note, it is in fact really easy to use a regular DVD player.
It is really as easy as opening the slide where the DVD can be put in, push the slide so the player takes the DVD in.
Then wait until the player has read the DVD (you can see that on your TV screen and sometimes the player will show a light).
After the player has read the DVD, you have to push the play button and the DVD starts to play.
Usually after a small intro, your TV screen will show you a menu, the so called DVD menu.
In this menu you can pick to watch the movie, the trailer, the extras, the subtitles, or anything else that the manufacturers of the film decided to put on the DVD.
When you are ready to watch the movie, sit back with a bowl of popcorn and some soda and push that play button!
